The treatment  is non - invasive, painless, requires no recovery time, and can be used safely on all skin  concerns.

The anti-ageing mode uses red light therapy for its skin rejuvenation abilities through increasing collagen and elastin production.
The treatment is very relaxing, non-invasive and completely pain-free.

The Acne modes uses predominantly blue light, along with red light & infrared light therapy for its anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and skin healing properties.

The Pain Management mode is scientifically proven to relieve arthritic pain, muscle and joint pain. Using predominantly infrared light & red light therapy for their ability to increase micro-circulation, reduce inflammation and increase tissue repair. Can be used anywhere on the body.

What is low-level-light therapy?
Low-level-light therapy is based on Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology and is the application of light energy to the body for therapeutic benefits.  The energy delivered by the LEDs has been shown to trigger the skins natural repair and  rejuvenation processes repair as well as stimulate the production of collagen — the foundation of healthy, smooth skin. Research has shown that LED light therapy may help smooth skin texture, improve skin firmness and resilience, increase lymphatic system activity, restore skin’s natural cellular activity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and superficial hyperpigmentation. The treatment is for all skin types, and is non-ablative, non-invasive, painless, and requires absolutely no downtime.  Clients can return to their normal activity immediately after the treatment.

How does it work?

Our skin has the ability  to absorb light energy which is absorbed by the skin cells mitochondria to stimulate the production  of  (ATP) -  the form of energy that cells utilise. This provides compromised cells with added energy so the cells performance is enhanced. For example, fibroblasts  cells will increase collagen and elastin  production in connective tissue to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in our skin and improve  the rate of wound healing.

Who can benefit  from LED Therapy ?

LED Therapy  can help a variety of skin conditions, including:
•  Acne
• Dermatitis
• Dull Skin
• Sun Damage
• Rosecea
• Signs of ageing, including fine lines and wrinkles.
• wound healing
• Muscle  and joint pain

Does Light therapy hurt
No. Light therapy is non-invasive and is painless when used as intended.

How long does a Celluma session last?
Thirty (30) minutes

Are there any special preparations required before using Celluma?
Celluma should be in close proximity to the area being treated. Skin should also be free of clothing, makeup, or anything else that may deflect light away from the skin.

Why do I need to remove my makeup?
Many makeup formulas contain minerals that may deflect light. Clean, freshly washed skin is recommended for best results. You can apply  your makeup  immediately  afterwards.
